The main object of demonstration was an 80 kW solar photovoltaic station. Experts, representatives of agribusiness and energy sectors gathered at the meeting to familiarize themselves with its operation and the benefits associated with selling excess electricity to the grid. In addition to solar panels, visitors saw other environmentally friendly technologies, including heat pumps, drip irrigation systems, solar tunnel dryers for agricultural products, and solar-powered "electric shepherds".
However, the event in the capital is just the beginning: in the coming months, the creation of full-fledged demonstration facilities is planned in the Chui and Osh regions. The program also includes training technical specialists and developing a supplier market for "green" energy. Organizers are confident that the widespread implementation of these technologies will help the agricultural sector of the country better adapt to climate challenges and increase the competitiveness of local products.
