The President emphasized that there are often cases of disrespect and even aggression towards teachers and medical professionals in society. He noted: "A teacher shapes the future of the nation, and a doctor is the guardian of health and life. We must restore the status and authority of these two crucial professions." In this regard, a decision was made to significantly increase their salaries.

Initially, a 50% salary increase was planned; however, after analyzing financial capabilities, the government decided to raise them by a more substantial amount. "We have decided to increase the salaries of medical and educational professionals by an average of 100% thanks to the introduction of a presidential compensation payment of 15,000 soms per position," the president added.

Currently, the average salary of teachers is about 26,000 soms, and starting from April 1, 2026, it will rise to approximately 52,000 soms. The amount of remuneration will depend on the level of education, experience, qualifications, region, and subject taught.

For example, the salary of a young teacher in an urban school with no experience and a secondary pedagogical education will be 36,800 soms starting from April 1, 2026, of which they will take home about 31,200 soms. In high-altitude and remote areas, the earnings of teachers with long experience, taking into account the regional coefficient, will be significantly higher. In particular, a mathematics teacher with 30 years of experience will earn 97,600 soms.

As for the medical sector, the average salary of doctors currently stands at 31,500 soms, and after the increase, it will reach 62,500 soms, with specialists taking home about 50,000 soms. A starting doctor in urban conditions will see their salary increase from 16,900 soms to 42,100 soms, while in mountainous areas, a top-category doctor with 30 years of experience will earn 91,700 soms.

Additionally, the president announced plans to raise the salaries of cultural and sports workers. The average salary of artists will increase to 46,500 soms, while that of coaches will rise to 58,900 soms.

Starting from April 1, 2026, the salaries of technical and service personnel will also be increased by an average of 80% due to the introduction of an additional presidential compensation payment of 5,000 soms per position.

As noted by Sadyr Japarov, these measures highlight the importance of the contributions of educators, medical professionals, and social workers to the development of society and the strengthening of the state.
