In an interview on "Birinchi Radio," Chief Engineer Turat Akhmatov stated that the company employs 1,800 workers; however, due to low salaries, the number of people wishing to work there has significantly decreased.
According to Akhmatov, "Young people prefer to gain experience and move on to other companies. In the Oktobersky district, there are only three welders left. Their salaries range from 30,000 to 36,000 soms, while in private firms, welders can earn up to 100,000 soms," noted the head of the water supply service, Keneshbek Akmatov.
Currently, "Bishkekvodokanal" is actively seeking both electricians and welders. Additionally, the management of the enterprise is considering the possibility of increasing salaries for its employees.
