In the Chon-Alai district, law enforcement officers detained a man suspected of fraud, as reported by the press service of the Osh region's Internal Affairs Department.

According to information from the agency, the suspect gained the trust of local residents, deceitfully appropriated their money, and then disappeared. At the end of February, several complaints were received at the Chon-Alai District Internal Affairs Department from victims — a total of seven.

The victims reported that a certain A.M. promised to help them obtain driver's licenses, especially category "E." For his services, he demanded amounts ranging from 60,000 to 104,000 soms from each person, after which he stopped communicating.

To obtain a category "E" driver's license (BE, CE, DE) in Kyrgyzstan, one must have at least one year of driving experience in the primary category, undergo training at a driving school, and successfully pass a practical exam at the GУ "Unaa" driving range. Enrollment for courses can be done online, requiring a passport, valid driver's license, medical certificate 083, and a photograph.

Classification of vehicles: passenger car with a trailer (BE), truck with a trailer/semi-trailer (CE), bus (DE).

In connection with these facts, the necessary materials were collected, based on which the investigative service initiated a criminal case under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code.

As a result of operational-search activities, the location of the suspect was established — he turned out to be A.M., born in 1996. He has currently been taken to the investigative authorities for further action.

The investigation continues, and operatives are checking the possible involvement of the detainee in other similar crimes.
