A new monitoring program aimed at the early diagnosis of children with autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy is starting in the Suzak district. This was announced by Aibek Matkerimov, the First Deputy Minister of Health, during a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh dedicated to issues of labor, health, women's rights, and social policy.

Matkerimov noted that this initiative will be implemented in a pilot format with the support of international organizations.

He also added that primary care staff have already undergone the necessary training to participate in this program.

During the committee meeting, information was also heard regarding the implementation of the resolution of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic dated June 5, 2024, No. 2142-VII, concerning the results of the work of the temporary deputy commission addressing the issues of children with autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy, as well as the observance of their rights in accordance with the legislation.
