According to the press service of the Cabinet, as of February 21 of this year, work on the repair and modernization of engineering systems at the National Center for Cardiology is nearing completion. The institution's buildings have been updated, including the outpatient clinic and inpatient facility. Repairs have been completed in the nephrology, rheumatology, and therapy departments, and the systems for electricity supply, heating, fire safety, and video surveillance have been modernized. New elevators have been installed, and the outpatient clinic and inpatient facility are almost ready for operation. The head of the Cabinet emphasized the need to complete all work within three months.
Additionally, Kasymaliev was briefed on the restoration process of the Heart Surgery Institute, where a fire occurred in February of last year. According to the Cabinet's data, the repair work is already in the final stage: engineering networks, heating and ventilation systems have been updated, finishing work and facade work have been carried out, and oxygen pipelines and equipment for the operating room have been installed. As part of the institute's preparation, medical equipment worth 270 million soms has been purchased.
As a result of the visit, it was instructed to ensure the quality completion of the repair work at the institute by March 1 and to strengthen control over equipping medical institutions with modern equipment, as well as over the quality of medical services provided to the population.
