Increased Sanitary Control at the Kyrgyzstan Border to Prevent the Import of Nipah Virus
As of today, no cases of Nipah virus infection have been registered in Kyrgyzstan. The epidemiological situation is under strict control by the sanitary-epidemiological services. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic. To prevent the potential importation of the virus, additional sanitary-quarantine control measures have been implemented at the borders of the country.
