During the meeting, the results of joint work on projects supported by Switzerland in the field of healthcare in Kyrgyzstan were discussed, as well as the prospects for further cooperation.
The participants emphasized the outcomes of joint initiatives aimed at improving financial protection for the population in healthcare, increasing public awareness about health, developing local health committee associations, enhancing the qualifications of healthcare workers, strengthening primary healthcare in the areas of prevention and management of non-communicable diseases, and improving governance in the healthcare system.
According to the participants, the implemented projects contribute to improving the accessibility and quality of medical services, developing preventive measures, and strengthening the institutional capacity of the healthcare system in the country.
At the conclusion of the negotiations, both sides expressed their interest in further partnership and expanding cooperation in key areas of healthcare development.
