The medical community is concerned about the detention of the only nephrologist at the NCODM, - deputy

At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on February 19, Deputy Gulnara Baatyrova expressed concern over the detention of the only nephrologist at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health (NCOMCH). In her opinion, the value of this institution lies not only in its infrastructure and equipment but also in its highly qualified specialists.

“I do not intend to interfere in the investigation process, but I am conveying the concerns of the medical community. I am confident that the investigative actions will be conducted honestly and fairly,” she added.

It was previously reported that doctors and various medical associations of Kyrgyzstan appealed to President Sadyr Japarov in defense of nephrologist N.B.

N.B. was detained on February 18 based on a complaint from citizen Z.S. regarding an alleged medical error committed at NCOMCH.
