The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, stated that neither through official nor unofficial channels has the country been provided with the text of the peace plan for resolving the situation in Ukraine, which consists of 20 points.
“Currently, they are demonstrating some document of 20 points, which has not been transmitted to us either officially or unofficially. Some of its content has appeared in the media,” Lavrov noted in an interview with the "Empathy Manuchi" project.
According to the minister, based on the agreements between the presidents of Russia and the USA — Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, reached in Alaska, a plan for resolution can be quickly agreed upon. However, Lavrov added that the document has undergone several changes.
The initial version of the peace plan included 28 points but was later reduced to 20. The special envoy of the US president, Steve Witkoff, stated that the work on the agreement is 90% complete. However, the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, pointed out that the issue of territories remains unresolved.
