A special operation was carried out jointly with the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as part of efforts to combat corruption in law enforcement agencies.
The name of the detainee is B.M.B., born in 1992. He was in charge of a case involving a serious crime against the sexual inviolability of a minor, committed by several individuals (N.E., S.B., K.O.). Despite the results of the forensic examination, which confirmed the guilt of all participants, the investigator terminated the criminal prosecution against two suspects — S.B. and K.O.
According to the GKNB, to legitimize his decision, the official coerced the minor to give false testimony in defense of the released suspects.

According to the decision of the Oktyabrsky District Court of Bishkek, B.M.B. was placed in custody and sent to the GKNB pre-trial detention center.
The agency also reported that the case of the rape of the minor will continue to be investigated, and all those involved will be held accountable in accordance with current legislation.
