As stated by lawyer Munarbek Supataev, Anarkulov is accused of organizing mass riots, which is a violation of criminal legislation. This information was announced after the court session, where the measure of restraint was considered.
The defense attorney also noted that his client denies all charges and disagrees with them. Anarkulov has no connection to the letter in which 75 people called for presidential elections to be held this year.
It should be recalled that Nurgazy Anarkulov was detained on February 17 while attempting to enter Kyrgyzstan through the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border. Previously, he had made statements on behalf of Kamchybek Tashiev after his dismissal from the position of chairman of the State Committee for National Security.
