As a result of the Arsenal raid conducted in the Chui region, a resident of the Kemin district was detained. According to the regional police department, he is suspected of illegal possession of weapons, drugs, and unauthorized hunting.
Based on operational information, on February 18, 2025, officers of the Kemin district police conducted an urgent search at the home of a local resident, citizen O.N., born in 1974, in the village of Shabdan.
During the search, a smoothbore firearm IZH 12 caliber was found along with cartridges, as well as cartridges for a rifled weapon of unknown caliber.
In addition, operatives discovered the head of a wild goat, the skins of a wild boar, two carcasses of wild pheasants, and one carcass of a chukar partridge.
Also, 1.5 kilograms of narcotic substances — cannabis — were seized from the attic during the search.
In connection with these circumstances, a criminal case has been initiated under Articles 267 (illegal circulation of weapons and ammunition), 282 (illegal production of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for sale), and 310 (illegal hunting) of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility. Judicial examinations have been appointed for the case, and investigative actions and operational measures are ongoing.
