According to information from the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, as a result of the investigation of criminal case No. 03-800-2025-0000661, initiated on December 11, 2025, facts of bribery and abuse of office by several officials of the Ministry of Defense were uncovered.
In particular, the investigation established that in 2024, a graduate of the National Military Lyceum, Z.A.E., scored 108 points in the results of the nationwide testing, which did not allow him to enroll in military universities, as the threshold score is 110. However, during the document processing, the test results were altered to 129 points, which enabled the applicant to be admitted.
During operational activities, it was revealed that the applicant's mother, J.N.A., through military personnel K.S.A., arranged with Major A.A.A., who is the responsible officer of the Main Personnel Department of the Ministry of Defense, for her son's admission. For their services, the participants in the scheme received 3,500 US dollars. Additionally, K.S.A. was given an amount of 40,000 soms, and Major A.A.A. received 45,000 soms transferred through a bank terminal. Thus, the total amount of bribes amounted to about 4,500 dollars.
According to the decision of the investigating judge of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek, Major A.A.A. has been placed in custody in the pre-trial detention center No. 1 for a period of two months, starting from December 13, 2025, until February 11, 2026.
Currently, the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Military Prosecutor's Office are conducting further investigative actions and operational measures to identify other individuals involved in this corruption scheme.
