
The Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kyrgyz Republic shared information about the employment situation in the geological sector, as well as the percentage of local workers in companies within this field.
According to the data presented in the infographic, 93% of all employees are local residents. "This confirms the creation of jobs in the regions and contributes to improving the socio-economic situation of citizens," the official statement notes.
Furthermore, according to Article 20 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Subsoil," companies engaged in subsoil use are required to hire at least 90% of their workforce from among the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic out of the total number of personnel working in the country.
"All licensed enterprises must strictly adhere to the established percentage ratio when attracting foreign specialists," the ministry added.
