In the residential complex "Muras," the cost of one square meter for citizens on the waiting list is set at 78,705 soms. This was reported by Gulzat Totubaeva, head of the population relations department of the State Mortgage Company (GMC), within the framework of the "Elden Sobol" program by the Kabar agency.
The GMC offers housing under two main schemes. One of them includes renting with the option to buy, where citizens queue up and, after their turn, can obtain mortgage housing for 25 years at an interest rate of 4% or 8% per annum without the need for a down payment.
Totubaeva provided an example: if a citizen waiting for their turn decides to buy a one-bedroom apartment with an area of 40 square meters in the "Muras" residential complex, the total cost will be approximately 3 million 100 thousand soms, based on the price of 78,705 soms per square meter. With a 25-year mortgage at 4% per annum, the monthly payment will be about 16 thousand soms.
She also noted that for those who previously purchased housing at a price of 650 dollars per square meter, the cost will remain the same and will not be revised.
