In the call center of Kaktus.media, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan reached out, stating that he obtained his driver's license outside the country. "I am a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, but I received my license in 1991, and now I cannot exchange it because I studied in Ukraine during the USSR," he explained.

Employees of the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing, which is subordinate to the Presidential Administration, informed Kaktus.media that licenses issued before January 1, 1992, in the former republics of the Soviet Union with the SU mark are subject to exchange under general conditions. "To do this, it is necessary to visit our office, where the original driver's license and the certificate of completion from the driving school will be digitized. A medical certificate in form No. 083 will also be required. After completing these procedures, we will process the exchange of the license under standard conditions. The citizen who contacted the editorial office cannot take advantage of the promotion that is valid from January 15 to February 15," the press service clarified.
