Recall that according to the new rules, in Kyrgyzstan, the process of training to obtain a category B license will take 10 months, while for category C it will take 12 months, including both training and testing.
In response to the question about the grounds for establishing such timeframes, the director of the State Center for Registration of Vehicles and Driver Personnel under the Presidential Administration, Tynychbek Saidov, answered. He noted that this decision was made to ensure better training for future drivers. However, according to him, he could not specify in which countries similar lengthy periods exist.
Ibragimov, for his part, noted: "As far as I know, such timeframes are not found anywhere in the world. The main reason for traffic accidents lies in years of corruption. Now we are forcing people to undergo training for 10 to 12 months. Previously, people simply bought driver's licenses, and the blame for this lies with the state, not with those who will now be trained. These timeframes need to be revised, as they are completely inappropriate," the deputy emphasized.
