Training will last for 10 months. The draft state standard for driver training in Kyrgyzstan is ready.
For category B, training will take 10 months, which amounts to 480 hours. The course includes theoretical foundations of traffic rules, first aid in case of accidents, legal aspects and driver ethics, as well as psychophysiological aspects of driving. Category C also requires 10 months of training (422 hours). Those wishing to obtain both categories will need to study for 12 months (576 hours). Previously, the exam consisted of 750 questions, but now the number has increased to about 2000.
It was also noted that exams will be conducted using artificial intelligence.
“A new platform has been developed where applicants can submit their applications and find out which educational institution the trainees will attend. Information about the application process, training costs, and a list of driving schools will be available next week. All educational materials have already been prepared,” the agency added.
