Bishkek Master Plan: By 2050, the capital will have 37 hospitals and 65 clinics
By 2050, it is planned to establish about 37 stationary medical institutions in Bishkek with a total designed capacity of over 25,900 beds. This data is reflected in the new general plan of the city, which is currently under public discussion. Currently, the capital has 25 hospitals, both republican and municipal, with a total designed capacity of 7,239 beds. The projected need for hospitals by 2050 was calculated based on the following normative indicator: 13.47 beds per 1,000 population.
