From December 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, a 90-day voluntary departure program will be launched in the Republic of Korea, as announced by the Ministry of Justice.
Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who are in Korea without a valid visa or immigration status can take advantage of this program and leave the country during the specified period without penalties and consequences related to re-entry bans, which are usually applied in cases of forced deportation.
This initiative applies to all foreigners who violated stay regulations before December 1, 2025.
It is important to note that the program does not apply to those who have committed criminal offenses or are subject to forced deportation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly recommends that citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who are in Korea without legal status take this opportunity to avoid potential fines and other negative consequences.
