The Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the start of the selection of citizens for education in Hungarian universities under the Stipendium Hungaricum program for the academic years 2026–2027.
This selection became possible thanks to a memorandum of understanding signed by the two state ministries.
According to the agreements reached, the Hungarian side has allocated 200 places for scholarships, distributed as follows:
130 places are designated for bachelor's (BA/BSc) and one-tier master's (One-tier Master/OTM) programs.
- 50 places are allocated for master's (MA/MSc).
- 20 places for doctoral (PhD/DLA).
Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who are at least 18 years old by August 31, 2026, have the right to apply.
