At the fair in the Naryn region, meat was sold cheaper than market prices
A large fair took place in the Naryn region, organized with the aim of providing the population with food products at prices significantly lower than market rates. The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan reported that during the event, beef and lamb were sold at prices ranging from 650 to 670 soms per kilogram. This initiative is aimed at supporting local residents with quality products and helping to stabilize prices in the regional market.

Local farmers, livestock breeders, and processing enterprises participated in the fair, allowing them to sell their goods directly to consumers. The exclusion of intermediaries contributed to the affordability of prices for products and created favorable conditions for both sellers and buyers. This format of operation allows for the saturation of the market with fresh products and effectively restrains the rise in prices for essential food items.
