Presidential compensation will soon come into effect, and an increase in allowances for the complexity of work is planned for September.
President Sadyr Japarov has approved a decree regarding salary increases for certain categories of budget sector workers.
According to this document, the changes will be implemented in stages.
Starting from April 1, 2026:
- employees of educational institutions, healthcare, culture, media professions, sports organizations, and social protection will receive salary increases and a presidential compensation of 15,000 soms per position (excluding technical staff);
- for technical and junior service staff, as well as the civilian personnel of law enforcement agencies, a compensation of 5,000 soms per position is provided.
From September 1, 2026:
- for employees of local government bodies and subordinate state agencies, the allowance for complexity and quality of work will be increased to 50% of the salary;
- also, for some employees, a presidential compensation of 15,000 soms will be provided (with exceptions for law enforcement agencies and certain departments).
The decree emphasizes that these measures are aimed at equalizing salaries and increasing motivation among budget sector workers.
The Cabinet of Ministers is instructed to make the necessary changes to the republic's budget for 2026 and ensure the implementation of this decree.
