The next day, on November 24, A.M. Musaev spoke at a meeting with the international organization TRAFFIC, where he discussed Kyrgyzstan's achievements in implementing the CITES Convention. He noted the country's readiness for further cooperation, including the introduction of digital tools for monitoring and strengthening measures against illegal trade.
During the conference, the Deputy Minister held meetings with the heads of environmental protection agencies in Central Asia, the Secretary-General of CITES, and the Director-General of TRAFFIC. Participants discussed opportunities for improving regional cooperation, joint projects, and initiatives for nature conservation.
The Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasizes that joining the Samarkand Declaration opens new horizons for coordinating actions, exchanging information, and collaborating on the protection of rare species and sustainable management of natural resources in the region.
