The signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding took place with the participation of Daniyar Amangeldiev, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. This document was signed between the Ministry of Energy and three leading international companies specializing in the supply, installation, and assembly of energy storage systems.

The signed memorandum aims to implement modern technologies for electricity storage, improve the resilience of the national energy system, and support the country's transition to renewable energy sources.

As part of this cooperation, a pilot project has already been implemented, during which a 100 kW energy storage unit with a capacity of 200% was installed at the OJSC "NESC". It is capable of delivering 100 kW of power for 2 hours and 15 minutes, with solar panels installed on the roof of the building serving as the energy source.

The signing of the memorandum involved the Minister of Energy Talaybek Ibraev and representatives of Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL), Xiamen Ampace Technology Limited (Ampace), and Yangpu Xinchuan Linghang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (YXL).

These companies are world leaders in the production and supply of solutions for energy storage systems and have significant experience in implementing large-scale renewable energy projects. The implementation of these agreements will ensure the influx of advanced technologies and investments, which, in turn, will enhance the reliability of energy supply in Kyrgyzstan.
