Since the beginning of the epidemic season, 2,562 cases of influenza have been laboratory confirmed, primarily the A (H3N2) virus, known as Hong Kong flu, which is well known to healthcare workers. In addition, other respiratory viruses typical for this season continue to circulate.
The epidemiological situation has already impacted the educational process: in ten regions of the country, 317 classes in 97 schools have temporarily switched to remote learning.
At the same time, the healthcare system is strengthening its measures. At the primary healthcare level, 1,143 mobile teams are operating, and 1,517 filter offices have been organized, of which 638 are designated for pregnant women and children. For emergency situations, 684 emergency care offices have been prepared, and 1,057 call centers are providing consultation support to the population.
The Ministry of Health notes that constant monitoring of the epidemiological situation is being conducted, and all necessary measures have already been implemented.
Specialists also remind that during the rise of viral infections, it is important to follow basic preventive measures: regularly wash hands, ventilate rooms, avoid crowds, and consult a doctor at the first symptoms of illness.
