- In the Chui region, 4 billion 687 million soms have been allocated for preferential loans for farmers. This was reported on February 18 by Sanjar Zhantayev, the first deputy representative of the president in the region, who spoke at a board meeting dedicated to the socio-economic development of the region.

According to Zhantayev, 1,075 farmers received 2 billion 749 million soms through OJSC "Aiyl Bank," while 923 farmers were able to obtain 1 billion 938 million soms through OJSC "Eldik Bank." These funds have been allocated as part of state preferential programs.

The loans are intended to stimulate the agro-industrial complex. They include support for projects such as "Agricultural Financing - 13," as well as leasing of agricultural machinery, development of breeding livestock and seed production, gasification, and interest-free lending under the "Social Contract" program.

In preparation for the spring fieldwork of 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers is implementing various state projects, including "FSH-14," "KAPK," "FOTP-2," programs for the development of breeding and seed production farms, the meat cluster in the Chui region and Bishkek, as well as projects for the introduction of water-saving technologies.

In addition to local initiatives, there are also projects from international organizations in the region. These include programs from the Asian Development Bank aimed at creating climate-resilient value chains, World Bank projects for the development of agro-food clusters and support for pastoral communities, as well as the KOICA project for improving post-harvest management systems.

The Chui region has 191 processing enterprises, three trade and logistics centers, 35 storage facilities for fruits and vegetables, and 20 slaughter points.
