Three Skiers Killed in Avalanche in the Pyrenees, Spain
On Monday, the Spanish Civil Guard reported a tragic incident in the Pyrenees, where three skiers died as a result of an avalanche. Another woman in the group suffered mild hypothermia. According to RIA Novosti, the event occurred at an altitude of about 2200 meters in the area of the Panticosa resort, located in the province of Huesca. A group of six skiers had come from the Basque Country for ski touring when they were hit by a snow avalanche.
