The Ministry of Health Discussed the Creation of a Unified Laboratory System

The Minister of Health Kanybek Dosmambetov held a meeting dedicated to the issues of creating a National Laboratory Service and optimizing the management of medical waste.

During the meeting, proposals were discussed for developing a unified and sustainable laboratory diagnostic system aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of medical services. The proposed model envisions the establishment of a national laboratory diagnostic structure involving both the public and private sectors, aligned with unified quality and management standards.

Participants discussed issues related to the management of the laboratory service, the implementation of international quality standards, digital monitoring, resource optimization, and improving the accuracy of research.

Additionally, steps were discussed to enhance the management of medical waste, including strengthening state control and introducing modern technologies for disinfection and disposal. Experts presented ideas for standardizing laboratory operations and the medical waste management system.

Dosmambetov noted that the development of the laboratory service and an effective medical waste management system are key aspects of state health policy, directly influencing disease prevention, timely diagnosis, and the protection of citizens' health.

Relevant departments were instructed to continue working on improving these areas and the phased implementation of the outlined tasks.
