
The negotiations involved military representatives from all three countries. Ukraine was represented at the meetings by Rustem Umerov, Kirill Budanov, Andrey Gnatov, David Arakhamia, Sergey Kislitsa, and Vadim Skibitsky. The American delegation included Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, Dan Driscoll, Alex Grinkevich, and Josh Grünbaum, while Russia was represented by military intelligence and army officials.
One of the key topics of discussion was the parameters for a possible conclusion of military actions. Zelensky expressed gratitude for the recognition of the need for American control and monitoring of the process to end the war and ensure real security. The American side also raised questions regarding the formats for approving the parameters for ending the conflict and the conditions necessary to ensure security.
As a result of the meetings, all parties agreed to present reports on the progress of the negotiations in their capitals and discuss further steps with their leaders. The military participants identified issues for the next meeting. Zelensky stated that if there is a willingness to continue the dialogue, the next meetings could take place as early as next week.
The President of Ukraine expressed his appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and personally to its leader for their mediating role and willingness to organize future negotiations.
