The judicial authorities reported the sentencing of the former head of the State Tax Service, Altynbek Abduvapov, and his deputy, Islambek Kydyrgychov. According to the decision of the Lenin District Court of Bishkek, which was made on December 25, 2025, Altynbek Abduvapov was found guilty under Articles 337 Part 3 and 337 Part 3 of the Criminal Code. In accordance with the provisions of Article 77 of the Criminal Code, he was fined 4000 calculation indicators, which is equivalent to 400,000 soms, and was also deprived of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities.
Islambek Kydyrgychov was also found guilty under Article 337 Part 3 of the Criminal Code and was fined 3000 calculation indicators, amounting to 300,000 soms, with a similar deprivation of rights to hold positions.
The third party, T.A.A., was found guilty under Articles 41 Part 4, 337 Part 3, and 267 Part 2 of the Criminal Code. Based on Article 77 of the Criminal Code, he was fined 3300 calculation indicators, which corresponds to 330,000 soms, with a subsequent ban on certain positions or types of activities.
Furthermore, Abduvapov and Kydyrgychov were stripped of all special ranks, class ranks, and state awards.
The preventive measures against Abduvapov and Kydyrgychov were changed from detention to a subscription not to leave the country until the sentence comes into legal force. As for T.A.A., his preventive measure remained unchanged — a subscription not to leave the country.
