The incident occurred on January 17 at around 07:05, when the police received a report from a medical facility about a 33-year-old man who had sustained a stab wound.
An investigative operational group arrived at the scene and found that the victim had been hospitalized with a wound to his left shoulder.
According to preliminary data from the investigation, the incident took place near a café on Selsovetskaya Street. The man witnessed one of the men beating his wife and decided to intervene. As a result, the aggressor stabbed him twice and fled the scene.
This case was registered under Article 208 ("Hooliganism") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Law enforcement officers soon detained the suspect, born in 2001, known as A.A. He was placed in a temporary detention facility.
Further investigation is currently underway.
