On December 20, 2025, a farmer approached the Sokuluk District Police Department, reporting suspicious behavior from an acquaintance. According to him, on November 2, he sold a cow worth 102,500 soms, trusting promises of subsequent payment. However, after the transaction, the acquaintance stopped communicating and turned off his phone.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The police detained the suspect, born in 1975, known as A.A., and placed him in a temporary detention facility.
During the investigative actions, it was revealed that this individual may also be involved in five similar crimes in the Sokuluk District.
