Long-term physical and psychological abuse
A blogger was arrested in Bishkek, suspected of cruel treatment of his wife, according to information from the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department.
According to law enforcement agencies, a woman with the initials M.D. reported that her husband, also with the initials M.D., had subjected her to systematic physical and psychological abuse for an extended period.
Previously, law enforcement had issued protective orders in connection with instances of domestic violence, but the suspect continued his actions.
In light of these circumstances, a criminal case was initiated under Article 138, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspect was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department.
