An important incident occurred in the Talas region: the pawnshop "Orozaly" decided to return citizens their real estate that had been seized earlier. This became possible due to the recognition of the validity of the claims made and the identified violations of the law.
Efforts to resolve this situation were conducted with the participation of the GKNB, the State Tax Service of the city of Talas, the regional branch of the National Bank, and the Antimonopoly Regulation Service.
The return of a residential house took place in the Talas district, where its former owner S. U. U. regained the right to ownership. In addition, the documents for the real estate that had been pledged were returned to ten citizens.
The management of the pawnshop also announced its intention to compensate borrowers for excessive interest charged above 30% per annum, starting from the summer of 2024. Citizens will be able to address their issues in the established manner.
The pawnshop apologized to the victims and assured that it would act strictly in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the future.
