Kuban Adyl uulu, who held the position of Deputy Attorney General of Kyrgyzstan, was sentenced to 12 years in prison with the confiscation of his property. The court found him guilty of preparing mass riots with the intent to overthrow the current government. This decision was made by the Alamedin District Court.

In addition, eight other defendants were also found guilty and sentenced to terms ranging from 8 to 13 years of imprisonment.

It should be noted that in 2024, a group of people was detained who, according to the investigation, planned to organize mass riots and overthrow the government on November 17, the day of the local council elections. They intended to hold sporting events in the suburbs of Bishkek, under the pretext of which they planned to incite violence, make unconstitutional demands, and destabilize the situation for a subsequent violent takeover of power.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case under the article concerning "Preparation for organizing mass riots involving violence, riots, arson, destruction of property, as well as the use of firearms, explosives, or explosive devices, or armed resistance to representatives of the authorities" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the investigation, seven people were detained, including former Deputy Attorney General Kuban Adyl uulu.
