As a result of the operation conducted in January 2026, 8 kilograms of methamphetamine were seized, which corresponds to more than 50 thousand doses. The market value of these drugs exceeds 53 million soms, according to the agency.
A case has been registered under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale.
The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement agencies are working to identify other participants in the criminal scheme, as well as possible sources of financing.
