
On March 15, at about 6:47 AM, a report was received at the Tokmok police station that a man had been found with a stab wound in one of the apartments in the 3rd microdistrict of the city.
Upon arrival of the investigative team at the scene, a deceased man, born in 1980, named M.B., was found in the apartment. His body was in a sitting position with a stab wound to the chest and showed no signs of life.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Article 122 (murder) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, it was established that the fatal injury was inflicted by the common-law wife of the deceased, born in 1974, named K.Z. Preliminary findings indicate that during a verbal altercation, she stabbed him in the chest with a kitchen knife, which led to his death at the scene.
The body of M.B. was sent to the morgue in the city of Tokmok. A knife was seized at the scene, and forensic medical examinations were ordered for further investigation.
In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, K.Z. was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
