It should be noted that Mahabat Tajibek kyzy was arrested in January 2024 along with ten journalists from Temirov Live, and they were charged with organizing mass riots. On February 25, 2025, the judicial panel of the Supreme Court upheld the sentence of the previous instance: Mahabat was sentenced to six years in prison, Azamat Ishenbekov received five years, and Aika Beyshikeeva was found guilty and sentenced to three years of probation. Aktilek Kaparov was sentenced to three years of probation, and he did not appeal this decision. The other seven defendants were acquitted due to lack of evidence of a crime.
On March 10, the Supreme Court sent the case of Mahabat Tajibek kyzy for a new review.
