Urolithiasis is becoming increasingly common among young people in Kyrgyzstan. Urologist Askar Niyazov reported this on "Birinchi Radio."

According to him, the main factors are poor nutrition, lack of fluids, and high consumption of spicy and salty foods. Additionally, many people lead a sedentary lifestyle, which exacerbates the situation.

Furthermore, Niyazov noted that heredity also plays a role. If there have been cases of urolithiasis in the family, among parents or other close relatives, the likelihood of its occurrence in children increases.

According to the doctor, the disease can be asymptomatic when the stone is in the kidney and does not obstruct urine flow. However, when symptoms appear, the most common is renal colic. Blood may also be present in the urine, along with symptoms similar to cystitis, depending on the location of the stone.
