Lawyer Vladimir Pluzhnik promised that land will be expropriated at market value

Recently, data on the cadastral value of land plots and houses was announced.

According to lawyer Vladimir Pluzhnik, government authorities will expropriate land at market value, not cadastral value. He mentioned this in an interview on the radio.

“Many misunderstood and spread information on social media that the cadastral value would be assessed at the minimum value and that this amount would be paid. In fact, the cadastral value, as I see it, will be necessary for tax calculations,” Pluzhnik noted.

He clarified that if the draft resolution is adopted, the expropriation of land plots will occur exclusively at market value.

Pluzhnik recommended not to resist if representatives of the authorized body come to the site to assess its value.

“You are obliged to provide access to the appraisers,” he emphasized.

It is worth reminding that a land reform was conducted in Kyrgyzstan, during which the concepts of "red" and "green" books were eliminated. Currently, a cadastral register operates in the country.

Authorities have also repeatedly stated plans for renovation, which raises questions among citizens. In particular, how the value of expropriated land and houses will be determined – at market value or cadastral value.
