In the Chui region, specifically in the Issyk-Ata district, an incident related to domestic violence occurred, which was responded to by the Main Department of Internal Affairs.
According to media reports, in the village of Novo-Pokrovka, a woman with children was pursued by her husband. She ran onto the roadway, asking for help, noting that she had been subjected to violence by her husband for a long time.
The report of the incident was received by the Issyk-Ata district police department on December 27, 2025, at 11:51 via the 102 service. It stated that a man was beating his wife near the "Noorus" store on Lenin Street.
The investigative operational group immediately went to the scene. However, when they tried to contact the number from which the call was made, a woman answered, stating that they had already left for Bishkek.
"During the investigation, the man captured on video was identified as citizen A.A. It was established that on December 27, 2025, at about 11:30, he was heading to the city of Kemin with his wife M.A. and their two daughters. During the trip in the village of Novo-Pokrovka, a verbal argument occurred between them. Attempting to stop his wife, who was crossing the road with the children, he grabbed her by the hand. Subsequently, an unknown vehicle took the woman and children towards the capital. According to the man, no physical force was used," the official statement said.
It is noted that later, wife M.A. called the 102 service in Bishkek. Employees of the Oktyabrsky district police department provided her with a protection order and conducted preventive measures.
During the subsequent investigation, citizen M.A. decided not to file a complaint, as no bodily injuries or facts of violence were established. Preventive measures were also conducted with citizen A.A. at the Issyk-Ata district police department.
Information about this incident will be sent to the residence of the couple for further preventive actions.
