The increase in limits is part of efforts to maintain the reliable operation of the energy system of the Kyrgyz Republic during peak loads. In this context, the presidential representative in the Naryn region, together with district state administrations and the Ministry of Energy, is organizing ongoing work on coal supplies for the population.
In order to control prices for coal products, raids have been conducted in cooperation with antimonopoly authorities. No cases of unjustified price increases were found during the inspections.
Currently, the price of coal in the Naryn region does not exceed 5,500 soms. Solid fuel reserves exceed 3,000 tons, of which about 1,500 tons are located at the social fuel bases of OJSC "Kyrgyzkomur."
