Aybek Junushaliev, the Mayor of Bishkek, held an on-site meeting at the intersection of Chuy Avenue and Abdrahmanov Street, as reported by the press service of the City Hall.

Currently, the landowners are engaged in dismantling previously installed structures.

A sketch project has been developed, which includes the restoration of the fountain composition and the arrangement of a green zone.

The mayor addressed the management of TSUM "Aichurek," urging them to avoid past mistakes.

“We must not repeat past mistakes. You are fencing off the area again, and tomorrow boutiques may appear there. It is important to create a space for the citizens and organize a public recreation area,” the mayor noted.

He instructed to prepare the final project for the next meeting of the urban planning council so that after the dismantling is completed, restoration and improvement can begin immediately.
Together with representatives of the "Tashbolot Holding" company, the mayor inspected the site of the Old Bishkek project, where the owners decided to demolish a three-story building. Taking into account the opinions of residents, a pedestrian and green zone is planned to be created in this area.

Following the inspection, Mayor Aybek Junushaliev instructed city services to monitor the implementation of the projects. Additionally, all facilities along Chuy Avenue, including the Beren Gold building, must be brought into compliance with the capital's design code.
