Defenders of peace and stability of the state. Sadyr Japarov congratulated the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country

The solemn event took place at T. Usubaliev Square in Bishkek

Sadyr Japarov, the President of Kyrgyzstan, congratulated the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the 101st anniversary of the Kyrgyz militia. The festive event was held at the square named after Turdakun Usubaliev, as reported by the presidential administration.

We present to you the text of the congratulatory message from the president:

“Dear generals, officers, and sergeants!

Esteemed servicemen and honored guests of our celebration!

Today we have gathered to celebrate the Day of the Kyrgyz Militia — an important structure responsible for the safety of our state, fighting crime, and distinguished by high professionalism, courage, and diligence.

Serving the Motherland is a sacred duty that requires courage and strength of spirit, and not everyone can fulfill it.

It is this duty that our defenders — the militia employees, who uphold law and order, carry with honor. You are a shining example of devotion to your people and service to them. Thanks to your diligence, the citizens of Kyrgyzstan can feel safe and secure.

I congratulate all personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and esteemed veterans on your professional holiday!

Dear compatriots!

Since the establishment of the militia on November 1, 1924, as part of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, it has been fulfilling its duties to protect citizens and combat crime for a hundred years.

Having endured many trials and difficulties, the militia employees have always steadfastly overcome obstacles and carried the heavy but honorable mission on their shoulders.

Let us turn to our history: hundreds of militiamen have heroically died protecting the people and ensuring a peaceful life. We will always remember their feats and express our deep gratitude.

I want to emphasize that serving in the militia is not just a job, but a high mission with great responsibility and honor.

In the last five years, significant steps have been taken to strengthen the work of the Kyrgyz militia and enhance its authority.

In order to improve citizen services, 85% of the material and technical base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been updated. All changes meet modern requirements — from the uniforms of employees to the organization of work.

The salaries of employees have doubled, and for workers in the Batken region — quadrupled. Social support is also provided to the personnel.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has fully transitioned to the “Digital Militia” system, which has allowed for the effective implementation of assigned tasks.

To enhance the operational efficiency in solving crimes in the regions of the country, more than four thousand modern video cameras have been installed, including facial recognition systems.

This has significantly accelerated the process of solving crimes and ensured the inevitability of punishment for the guilty, which contributes to strengthening citizens' trust and maintaining order.

Modern digital technologies help maintain public order and ensure road safety, as well as provide quality services to the population.

However, new tasks lie ahead. As part of the “Safe Country” project, I have instructed to increase the number of video cameras to twenty thousand. Additional jobs will also be allocated for the Ministry of Internal Affairs. I am confident that these measures will enhance the level of security in our country.

Esteemed participants of the event!

We are now putting into operation 35 new buildings for internal affairs agencies across the country.

In Razakovo, Leilek district of Batken region, a 32-apartment building is being provided for employees in need of housing through the State Mortgage Company.

Additionally, in honor of the 101st anniversary of the Kyrgyz militia, 101 modern vehicles equipped with digital technologies will be handed over, which will be sent to regional departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

This is a manifestation of the state’s care and trust in the militia. In the future, we plan to build more houses for employees so that no one is left without housing. We will also provide the militia with everything necessary for effective work. The main thing is the stability of society and the tranquility of citizens, which is a priority for the state.

Dear militia employees!

As the head of state, I understand the gravity, responsibility, and risks of your profession.

Society always expects a high level of responsibility, justice, and honesty from the militia. Therefore, each of you should remember the words: “The militia is at the service of the people” and confirm them with your deeds!

On this significant day, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the veterans of the militia who dedicated their lives to maintaining public order and fighting crime. Your experience and guidance are important lessons for the younger generation.

And to the ordinary officers, sergeants, and servicemen, I urge: may each of your days be dedicated to the tranquility of the people and the safety of the state! Fulfill your oath “I serve the Fatherland!” honestly and conscientiously, be true guardians of public order.

May the new buildings and technical means bring good fortune! I am confident that they will serve for the safety of people and make a significant contribution to maintaining peace in our country.

May peace and prosperity reign in the new homes of Batken!

I wish everyone good health, happiness in the family, and new successes!

May peace always prevail in sunny Kyrgyzstan!

With sincere congratulations on this festive day!”
