Adylbek Kasymaliev, head of the cabinet of ministers and the presidential administration, expressed his congratulations to the workers and veterans of the diplomatic service on their professional holiday.

Here is the text of the congratulation:

“Dear veterans and workers of the diplomatic service!

With great respect, I congratulate you on your professional holiday – the Day of the Diplomatic Service Worker of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Modern diplomacy of Kyrgyzstan is based on the deep traditions of our people, as well as on the wisdom of our ancestors, who for centuries have been able to establish relations with neighbors based on respect, justice, and trust.

This year we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, coinciding with a period of global changes in the world.

Today it is especially important to note that Kyrgyzstan conducts a peaceful, multi-vector, and balanced foreign policy based on international law, equality, and mutual respect.

Kyrgyzstan's active participation on the international stage is confirmed by its constructive contribution to the activities of international organizations and integration associations such as the UN, SCO, CSTO, CIS, EAEU, and OIC.

This year, Kyrgyzstan simultaneously chaired the Organization of Turkic States and the Collective Security Treaty Organization. In September, our country took on the responsibility of chairing the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tianjin.

During our chairmanship in the SCO, important events related to politics, economy, culture, and education are planned.

Over the past two years, Kyrgyzstan's candidacy for a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2027-2028 has been actively promoted, with elections scheduled for next year.

In this regard, your professionalism and knowledge will be especially in demand in the coming year.

Dear diplomats!

The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic is taking all necessary steps to attract investments in key sectors of the economy, such as energy, transport, industry, logistics, digitalization, and tourism.

Our country continues to strengthen its transport, transit, and energy potential, implementing international initiatives to combat climate change, protect mountain ecosystems, and promote sustainable development.

The economic growth achieved in recent years has been made possible by the hard work of our diplomats. I want to express special gratitude to the employees of foreign institutions who, being on the front lines, protect the interests of the state and promote the establishment of ties with international partners, as well as attract investments and technologies to Kyrgyzstan. The work to protect the rights of our citizens abroad is also important.

To expand the diplomatic and consular presence of the Kyrgyz Republic on different continents and with the support of President Sadyr Japarov, embassies have been opened in countries such as France, Italy, Hungary, Mongolia, and Ethiopia, as well as consulates in Chicago, St. Petersburg, Kazan, and Antalya from 2021 to 2025. This work will continue.

Significant efforts are being made to improve the material and technical base of diplomatic and consular institutions.

This year, on the eve of Independence Day, a new building for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs representation for the Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken regions was opened in Osh.

We will continue to create decent working conditions for our diplomats.

Dear veterans and diplomats!

The diplomatic service of the Kyrgyz Republic faces important tasks, the solution of which requires your daily labor, dedication, and sincere love for your profession.

I am confident that the many years of experience and life wisdom of the veterans of domestic diplomacy will remain a professional guide for young specialists who are just starting their path in diplomacy.

I wish you and your loved ones health, harmony, well-being, and new professional successes.”
