At the Ministry of Natural Resources, the implementation of the regional project "Green Cities" was discussed

On February 9, the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, Meder Mashiev, held a meeting with representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

According to the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the meeting discussed the implementation of the regional project "Green Cities," which is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany.

The project covers three countries: Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the Kyrgyz Republic, with the main partner from Kyrgyzstan being the Ministry of Natural Resources.

This project includes activities aimed at exchanging experiences between the cities of the participating countries, developing climate-resilient solutions, and implementing modern methods of managing environmental processes.

The parties expressed their intention to continue cooperation and implement practical activities within the framework of the "Green Cities" project, aimed at creating a sustainable and environmentally safe urban environment in Kyrgyzstan.
