
A project has been launched in Kyrgyzstan for the installation of the second hydro unit at Kambarata HPP-2, which is expected to increase energy capacity and enhance the reliability of the country's energy system, the Ministry of Energy reported.
Funding and Contractors
This project is funded by the Eurasian Stabilization and Development Fund. To ensure the quality implementation of the work, the ministry has engaged the international company Fichtner GmbH & Co. KG, which provides technical support and conducts engineering supervision.

The project is being implemented according to schedule. The commissioning of the new unit will increase electricity generation and create a stable foundation for the further development of Kyrgyzstan's energy sector, enhancing its resilience to peak loads.
