Today, November 20, President Sadyr Japarov participated in the ceremonial laying of the capsule for the new residential complex "Altai," located in Bishkek.

On an area of 234 hectares, 1,551 five-story buildings will be constructed, totaling 34,004 apartments of various layouts. The total construction area will exceed 1 million 7 thousand square meters.

In addition to residential premises, the project includes the creation of all necessary social infrastructure: schools, kindergartens, medical institutions, rehabilitation centers, as well as police and fire service stations. A large park covering 50 hectares and modern sports facilities will be established for residents' recreation.

The transport infrastructure includes about 86 kilometers of roads, 50 kilometers of sidewalks, and parking spaces for 34,500 vehicles.

In his speech, President Japarov emphasized that the "Altai" project aims to provide affordable and modern housing for the growing population of the capital. Under the state contract, 10% of the apartments, which amounts to 3,400 units, will be transferred to state ownership.

“We continue to actively work on the development of the capital and the entire country as a whole, creating comfortable living conditions for people,” the president added.

“We strive to leave our descendants a prosperous capital, a modern and developed city,” he noted.

Japarov also stated that this complex will become the largest construction project in the region and expressed confidence that its implementation will transform the area, creating a new cultural environment.

“Currently, more than 200,000 citizens need housing, and such a large-scale project is a necessity of our time. Until we satisfy the needs of the people, there will be no real development. The support of the people is our main strength. We are confident that the 'Altai' project will be a cause for which the people will say thank you,” the president concluded.

At the end of the event, the head of state interacted with residents of the Pervomaisky district who were invited to the ceremony.

During the conversation, residents raised relevant issues concerning educational institutions, improving living conditions, and addressing problems with utility and road services.

President Japarov listened to the suggestions and instructed the relevant state authorities to carefully consider the citizens' appeals and take measures to resolve them. ```
